HeroNorm and AI
AI can do anything. That's why control matters.
Your team already asks AI how to do things, writes code with it and lets it act. Great for speed. Less great when nobody knows which rules it followed. Connect your AI to HeroNorm, and it works within your ISO rules, on its own initiative.
What your AI does once it's connected
Looks up your rules first
Asked how you handle test data or a new supplier? It reads your own policies and procedures before it answers, and names the one it used.
Asks before risky actions
Copying production data, exporting files, changing access, going live: it checks with HeroNorm first. When a person has to decide, it waits.
Keeps the paperwork up to date
New release, new tool, different way of working? It offers to update HeroNorm, which works out what that means for your risks, controls and policies.
Tells you what's really done
It separates what a person confirmed from what is only suggested. No “all compliant” when it isn't.
What it can't do
- Do more than the person it works for. Same rights, same organization, nothing else.
- Make the decisions that belong to people: publishing a policy, approving a risky action, the Statement of Applicability.
- Keep going after someone leaves. Access ends, the AI stops.
Proof for your auditor
Every month HeroNorm shows how AI worked in your organization: how often it answered from your rules, which risky actions it checked first, who approved what, and which changes it registered. Every step is in a log that can't be changed afterwards.

Questions about AI and HeroNorm
Which AI assistants work with HeroNorm?
Claude, by Anthropic, out of the box. Other assistants that support the same kind of connector (MCP) work too.
Can the AI ignore the rules?
HeroNorm gives the AI your rules and asks it to check first, and Claude follows that well. The hard limits sit in HeroNorm itself: a refused action stays refused, decisions stay with people, and every step is logged under a person's name.
Does HeroNorm send my documents to the AI?
Only what the AI asks for, as the person it works for: a passage of a policy, a decision. Nothing more, and never another organization's data.
Does this help with ISO 27001?
Yes. Auditors increasingly ask how you control the use of AI. With HeroNorm you show it: rules, checks, decisions and a log.
